Reflection is a powerful evaluation tool. By making the time to consider what worked in 2024 (I know you might have to dig deep here) and what didn’t, you’ll glean valuable information to help you in the coming year. I’ve collated my favourite start of the year self-reflection questions to help you.
Get yourself a notebook and pen, a beverage of your choosing and take 30 minutes to work through the following:
– What went well in 2024? What were my wins? What did I enjoy most?
– What didn’t work well in 2024? Why?
– What are the lessons amidst the hard times?
– What do I want to be celebrating at the end of 2025? How do I want to feel?
– What are my top 3 goals?
– What habits or patterns do I need to break to achieve my goals?
– What daily action steps do I need to take consistently to achieve my goals ?
– What do I need to stop procrastinating on?
– What do I need to believe about myself to create the 2025 I desire?
If you don’t know where you’re heading in life, you’ll never get there. The answers to these questions will give you insights that’ll help you plan, strategise and take action towards a strong 2025 finish.
