And Set Intentions for a Magical 2026

As 2025 comes to a close, it’s tempting to rush straight into planning, goal-setting and “fixing” yourself for the year ahead. But real, lasting change doesn’t start with pushing harder, it starts with reflection.

Taking time to consciously reflect on the past year helps regulate your nervous system, integrate lessons, release what no longer fits, and move into 2026 with clarity rather than urgency.

These end-of-year reflection questions are designed to help you:

  • Understand what actually shaped your year
  • Identify patterns that supported or sabotaged you
  • Reconnect with your values and inner compass
  • Begin 2026 from a grounded, intentional place

This isn’t about becoming a new version of you.
It’s about consciously meeting the next version of you.

How to Use These Questions

Set aside 30–45 minutes.
Bring a journal, a warm drink, and curiosity instead of judgement.

You don’t need perfect answers. You just need honesty.

12 End-of-Year Reflection Questions for 2025

1. What went well in 2025? What are you genuinely proud of?

Notice where you showed courage, consistency or self-respect, even when it felt hard or really challenging.

2. What didn’t work this year; and what did it teach you?

Every “failure” contains information for your personal growth. What boundaries, or truths did 2025 reveal?

3. What patterns repeated themselves; in work, relationships or self-talk?

Patterns are not personality flaws. They are invitations to create greater self-awareness and empowered choice.

4. Where did your energy grow and where was it drained?

Who or what made your soul feel nourished? Who or what drained the life out of you?

5. Who truly supported you this year and who couldn’t meet you where you are?

Who were the people you felt held and supported by? Who were the people you had to contort yourself to fit in with?

6. What did 2025 teach you about who you are becoming?

Not what you achieved — but who you are now as a result of this year. How have you changed for the better?

7. What do you want to be celebrating at the end of 2026?

Emotionally, financially, spiritually, relationally. Let yourself imagine fully what you’ll be celebrating on 31st December 2026.

8. What are your top 3 priorities for 2026 and why do they matter?

Where are you placing your focus this year and most importantly why?

9. What habits, behaviours or beliefs need to be released before you move forward?

Growth often requires subtraction, not addition. What needs to change in your inner world so you outer circumstances improve?

10. What daily or weekly practices will support your nervous system in 2026?

How will you support your personal growth with daily self-care practices or rituals?

11. Where did you experience joy, peace or flow this year and how can you create more?

Reflect on the times you felt really at peace and in flow. How can you put yourself into more situations like that this year?

12. If you met your Future Self at the end of 2026, what would they thank you for starting now?

Answer this slowly. This question changes things. What, if you start now, will change your life in 12 months?

Why Reflection Alone Isn’t Enough

Reflection creates insight — but integration creates change.

Many people gain clarity at the end of the year…
…and then fall back into the same patterns by February.

That’s not a willpower issue.
It’s a nervous-system and identity alignment issue.

New Year Reflection & Intention Setting Workshop.

If these questions resonated, or stirred resistance, that’s a sign you’re standing at a threshold.

New Year Reflection & Intention Setting Workshop is a guided New Year workshop designed to help you:

  • Connect with your future self through grounded visualisation
  • Clarify what actually needs to change (and what doesn’t)
  • Create intentions that feel safe, aligned and realistic
  • Translate reflection into practical next steps

This is not a hustle-heavy goal-setting session.
It’s a reflective, embodied reset for people who want 2026 to feel different, not just look different on paper.

Final Reflection

You don’t need to reinvent yourself to create change.
You need to listen more deeply to what’s already trying to emerge.

Reflection is how we honour the past and choose the future consciously.

Take what serves you from 2025.
Release the rest.
And step into 2026 with intention, not pressure.
